Master of Arts Comprehensive All students pursuing a Master of Arts non-thesis option degree must be registered for Re 598 in their final semester of course work. Under the guidance of the Registrar, the student will submit two research papers from the M.A. concentration areas and pass a comprehensive examination. Once the comprehensive exam has been passed, three units will be awarded for Re 598 and the transcript will reflect either P, (Pass) or PD (Pass with Distinction). M.A. (Non-Thesis Option) Required.
